And so the adventure begins…

We are delighted to introduce to you the newest member of our team – Simon Robinson.  Simon joined us in October 2020 as our Development Director, but who exactly is he?

History…

By way of background, Simon graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2007 with a Masters degree in Structural Engineering with Architecture.  He then spent 6 years in a Belfast based consultancy firm working on a wide variety of commercial and residential projects, where he gained his Chartership in 2011. In 2013 he joined a local residential property developer and was responsible for operations, customer service and sales, before eventually embarking on an adventure with ourselves in 2020.

Why Simon wants to be part of Cornerstone…

Simon has always been passionate about community and the positive impact community life can have on an individual.  Cornerstone’s vision for the transformation of Belfast was therefore instrumental in his decision to join the team. Like ourselves, he is also passionate about the end user and feels that he can use his knowledge and experience to ensure that they have an end product which exceeds their expectations in functionality and design. When asked about his thoughts now he has been here for a few weeks, Simon stated that “I am very excited for what the future holds for both Cornerstone and Belfast”.  So are we.

Hobbies...

Simon enjoys the outdoors, music and DIY projects (when he gets the time).  In relation to the last, I think we all know what that means!!  Good luck with that Simon.

The Secrets...

He says he loves spending time with his wife and children but admits, rather unashamedly, that he loves mowing the lawn as it gives him an opportunity to be alone with his thoughts.  Understandable some of you might say.  Others might wonder what he does during the Winter months?

Anyway, we just know that Simon’s going to fit right in with the team at Cornerstone and do you know what the best part is?  He’s here because he wants to extend that hand of experience and knowledge to you.
